If you have issues updating or downloading your game via the Google Play Store, you can try the following:
-
Go to the Google Play Store App
-
Tap on your profile picture then tap on "Manage Apps & Device"
-
Then go to the "Manage" tab on top.
-
Tap on Catalyst Black's icon
-
Tap on the three-dotted icon on the top right part of your screen (this may vary depending on device and OS) and then check or re-check the "Enable auto-update" option.
-
Now restart your device
-
Try updating once the device has been restarted.
Alternatively, you can clear your Store's cache and try again:
- Before anything, make sure your Google Play Store app is closed
- Go to Settings and into Apps
- Scroll until you find and tap the Google Play Store App
- Tap on Storage (sometimes it does not appear as a button but tap it anyway)
- This should bring you to the next screen where you should first tap Clear Cache and then OK
- Now tap Clear Data and OK (Please be aware that clearing the data will probably clear all BILLING INFORMATION associated with the account. but they can be added back simply by accessing the Google Play Store again and setting them up on your wallet or billing and payment tab)
- Exit and close the Settings app.
- Now restart the device.
When the device restarts it should try to update its connection to Google Play Store.
This should help you be able to download and install the update.
